This 1960s home had strong bones, but the original layout no longer suited modern family living. Small single-door wardrobes, impractical bedroom sizes and dated finishes made the home feel cramped and inefficient.
By reworking the internal layout, we were able to significantly improve flow, functionality, and storage throughout the home. Bedrooms were reconfigured to create better proportions, with new generous three-door wardrobes added to maximise storage and usability.
The existing timber floors were sanded and stained in a modern finish, instantly lifting the home’s appearance. The kitchen was extended to allow for the addition of a new scullery, creating a more practical and organised hub for family life, with strip lighting to enhance light, warmth, and atmosphere throughout the spaces.
The bathroom was fully renovated into a stunning, modern space, combining clean lines with everyday comfort. The result is a thoughtfully transformed home that balances the charm of its 1960s origins with the functionality and comfort expected of modern living.
