At Alder Homes Ltd, building homes isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are.
Our story begins with Tim Alder, a true craftsman who grew up surrounded by the tools, plans, and passion of the construction industry.
Raised in a family of builders, Tim developed a love for creating things that last—a passion that has driven him throughout his career.

Building Kiwi Homes for Over 25 Years
Tim Alder’s journey into construction started early, growing up in a family deeply rooted in the building industry. From a young age, Tim was drawn to the craft, spending countless hours learning the trade, working alongside skilled professionals, and developing a hands-on understanding of what it takes to build homes that last.
With a National Certificate in Carpentry from BCITO, Tim’s qualifications are matched by decades of experience. His expertise spans everything from large-scale renovations and home extensions to bespoke new builds and reclads. Tim’s eye for detail, commitment to quality, and genuine love for creating homes have earned him a stellar reputation among clients and peers alike.
Over the years, Tim has personally overseen the construction and renovation of hundreds of homes across Auckland, ensuring each project is delivered to the highest standard. His approachable nature and dedication to open communication mean that every client feels supported throughout the process, no matter the size or complexity of their project.
