Alder Homes Ltd has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Carpenter / Foreman to join their friendly team.

Reporting to the Owner, this is a hands on role where you will be responsible for managing sites / crew, project management, building, pricing variations, pricing up smaller renovation or remedial works, managing sub-trades and specialising in residential renovations.

Company:  Alder Homes Ltd, established in 2016, is led by an owner/operator with 27 years of experience in residential construction, having a solid industry foundation and long-term connections. We are a small residential construction team, servicing the greater Auckland area. Our expertise spans a wide range of residential work, including garage conversions & second dwellings, extensions, large remedial works & new builds. We prioritise high quality finishes and an open honest approach working closely with homeowners to build strong relationships, and are involved in every stage of the project—from planning through to completion.

Role Purpose: To undertake jobs given within capability, overseeing team members on site, organisation of any gear/materials needed, organise and attend inspections, provide documentation of works and responding to all managers connected with projects. To support managers to produce quotations for minor works.

To be considered you will need to be a Qualified experienced Carpenter with proven experience running a full home renovation including crew, materials, sub-trades, and schedules. You will have your own reliable vehicle, tow ball, full tool kit, and hold a valid driver’s licence.
